It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like It's Time to Take Down the Christmas Wreath

I love the smell of Christmas, so it made sense to me that we keep our wreath up well beyond Christmas.  Our wreath turned light green then slightly brown over the months, but I still didn't feel like taking it down.  Finally, in a fit of selling, donating, trashing, and recycling clutter around the house, I decided it was time for the wreath to go too.

When I took it down, I realized that many of the materials used to make this Costco wreath could be recycled.  The metal frame could be reused next Christmas to make my own wreath or make a hanging arrangement.  I've seen these wreath frames for sale at Walmart for $2-$4 depending on size.

I noticed there were fake pine cones and red berries that could be reused for Christmas decor next year too.  I already thought this Costco wreath was a good deal, but now that I can reuse all of these materials, it seems like a steal.  All it took was a wire cutter to clip off all the wire holding the tree branches and decor onto the frame.  So easy!
